KIND Families exists to encourage, educate and engage those who love Kids with Invisible Neurological Differences (KIND) and to equip faith communities to promote understanding, inclusion and belonging.
Through writing, speaking, and podcasting, founder Kari A. Baker uses personal stories, scriptural truth and a dose of humor and humility to provide peace, connection, and inspiration.
Kari A. Baker is a Christian author, speaker, and podcaster. After 30 years in the financial services industry, she founded KIND Families to provide Christ-centered encouragement for those who love Kids with Invisible Neurological Differences (KIND). She was inspired by her own experiences raising her son Brady, who was diagnosed with autism at age three.
After years of struggling to accept a parenting path she never anticipated, Kari finally found faith, purpose, and intention in God’s design. Her outreach seeks to increase understanding, instill hope, grow faith, and build community.
Her first print book, Finding KIND: Discovering Hope and Purpose while Loving Kids with Invisible Neurological Differences is receiving wide acclaim, and features a foreword written by Brady. She is also the host of The KIND Families Podcast and is a frequent speaker and contributor to various publications and media outlets.
